I have to disagree that bonnie prince billy is only pretty good. This is the type of album that the most recent Wilco or Bright Eyes albums could have and should have been. Although this album has merit all on its own as a near perfect catchy, summer, have a drink at dusk, alt country album, the fact that this album fills the gaping and long standing void in my ears that was left by poor Wilco and Bright Eyes albums is enough to make it a top three album of the year so far.
I'm still getting all of these records listened too...
I'll have more to say in a bit.
